The affiliated Minor League Baseball season was supposed to start this week, but alas, it did not. But we're here to celebrate those teams all week that have been there for us in good times and bad!

OPENING: The MLB seems to be taking advantage of the Corona Pandemic to move forward with eliminating some of the MiLB teams on Manfred's hit list. I talk about it.

Keith Law has a great article in The Athletic about it. Check it out. Great read.

Shoutouts to the Corpus Christi Hooks and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

0:12:29 Raiders of the Lost Diamond: We take a look at the history of professional baseball in the Texas capital, notably, the Austin Senators.

0:18:03 Who’s On First: Round Rock Express communications manager Andrew Felts joins the show.

0:31:44 On Deck: We visit with one of the nicest guys in sports, Erik the Peanut Guy of the Tri City Dust Devils

0:49:07 Lights Camera Baseball: Major League: Back to the Minors is a better film than Major League 2. I said it.

0:51:30 This Just In: Scott joins me to talk the new plan for baseball in...Arizona?

1:06:38 Closing it Out:  We talk about how we can support the MiLB at this time.

Shout outs to some of our favorite baseball pods: The Sod Pod, Mansplain Baseball Elsewhere, Friars on the Farm, B4 The Pitch.

The Lexington Legends want you to #ShareYourStache and we give props to the Rocket City Trash Pandas
